From the BetaBase calculations, this means the doubling time was 41.06 hours. I have no idea how good this is, but it seems to be good. Any insight out there? The nurse didn’t give any indication as to whether this might mean twins, and my Internet searches show that there’s really no way of telling from these numbers.
My first OB scan (that’s what the nurse called it—does she just mean a regular ultrasound?) is set for Oct. 5. I can’t wait. I feel a little nauseous, but I think that’s from anticipation. Nothing really new with symptoms. My cramps have subsided for the most part.
Please give Luo Lin some congratulations! She got a BFP just before me. Things are looking up in the blogosphere?

Congrats!! Those numbers look awesome!
Your numbers look WONDERFUL!!! So excited for you!
Yep 42 hours is fine, Emmie. They want between 48 and 72 hours, so you are even a little ahead. Congrats more!
I have heard that they want the number to double by 48 hours so I imagine that your numbers are superb! Sounds like it is going REALLY well and that makes me so extremely happy for you!!!
Wonderful news.
What I know about the ultrasounds is that in the fifth week, they can look for the sac and in the seventh week they can listen for the heartbeat. (Counting from 2 weeks before retrieval.)
WOW! Those numbers are awesome! So happy for you and I can't wait to hear what happens at your appointment!!!!
I know exactly what it feels like to have that "living in slow motion" feeling. You described it so well.
Again, congrats! I am so happy to see such great numbers!
That's great Emmie! You'll find out in a few weeks exactly what those numbers mean!
Those numbers sound good to me! Congratulations!
I hope you've started a trend . . . I'd like to follow!
Totally Awesome!!!!
Poo on antral follicle counts eh?
Your doubling looks wonderful.. I think that can be more predictive of twins then actual numbers. I say 2, but as long as the babe(s) are healthy then that is the important thing.
Damn, this kind of result makes it worth it again.
